I'm Cody. I'm 16. I'm a junior. I'm in the drumline.

I bet you won't ask me anything.

Honestly, I don’t really understand why Harry Potter “fans” fight about every little thing in Harry Potter. You fight about whether Ginny deserved Harry. Whether Ron deserved Hermione. Who should have been with who. Whether Snape was actually great guy or not. Who the true hero was. If you don’t read the books and you just watch movies that you’re not a true fan. And the thing I see the most that everyone fights about is who Lily should have chosen, Snape or James. Yes, James was a bully, and that wasn’t right. But, he grew out of it. I feel like you all forget that Snape bullied the kids at Hogwarts throughout the first 6 books/movies. He was a bully, too. In the end, James and Snape both had become better men, though. James loved Lily just as much as Snape did. I think people don’t realize that if Lily would have chosen Snape over James that there would be no Harry Potter which would have resulted in no books, and in turn would have resulted in no movies. Everyone that fought in the Battle of Hogwarts were heroes. Not just one certain person. Loving someone is not about who deserves who, it’s about love. And, Snape in the end was a truly great guy. I feel like if you’re a true fan, you won’t fight about all of these things. You will just enjoy the books/movies how JK Rowling wrote them. And, you won’t criticize the people who don’t like to read for just watching the movies. They’re just as much fans of the story as you are, and saying they’re not is just dumb. End of Story.
